Ron & Karina’s Wedding Day, June 2018
The bride’s only requirement for her wedding location was “to have her toes in the sand.” Since the couple got engaged at Cuvée’s South Africa Gala, staying Cuvée was the natural choice. Though Cuvée offers a number of beach properties for destination weddings, Los Cabos and its ease of travel from Colorado (the couple’s hometown) were the perfect fit.
Brisas Del Mar
Karina and Ron chose Brisas Del Mar, Cuvée’s luxurious casita at the renowned Villas Del Mar as both the private residence for their wedding week and their ceremony and reception location. Its unbelievable grounds and multi-level estate provided the most idyllic backdrop for a wedding on the sand. With six-bedroom suites, an infinity pool, its own putting green, and an enviable location on the beach, Brisas is quite possibly one of the romantic villas in all of Cabo.
Personal Touches
The Cuvée team went more than the extra mile for Karina and Ron. They took care of everything so the two could enjoy their magical day and that feeling of the sand between their toes. The bride’s family is from Germany and many had never been to Mexico so she really wanted them to have an authentic experience. Their goal was to create an experience that was truly unique for all guests and everyone in attendance attested that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever witnessed.
Mexican Authenticity
Catering to the bride’s wishes of creating an authentic Los Cabos experience, Cuvée’s team arranged for a string quartet on the beach, a Mariachi band and dancers at the reception, beautifully hand-prepared Mexican dishes for the dinner (including a churro machine and hand-crafted tortillas), and Mexico’s best DJ. Karina and Ron raved about their big day and shared that “the experience was dream-like and truly unforgettable!”
