A Magical Wedding on Hawaii’s Big Island

“The wedding ceremony was simple, elegant, beautiful, romantic and absolutely amazing–thanks to the Four Seasons and the Cuvée team. We could not have dreamed of a better place to celebrate such a special week in our lives.”

Annie and Jake’s Hualalai Marriage

“The wedding ceremony was simple, elegant, beautiful, romantic and absolutely amazing–thanks to the Four Seasons and the Cuvée team. We could not have dreamed of a better place to celebrate such a special week in our lives.”

Hualalai Estate

As Jake and Annie began to talk about their wedding dreams, they pictured a tropical, remote and intimate destination–the first place that came to mind was the Hualalai Estate and Cuvée. They wanted a small family wedding that could provide an intimate experience for the blending of two families, who come from different cultures and speak different languages (English and Chinese).

Hualalai, Cuvée and the Four Seasons offered a sanctuary to celebrate the joining of two young people and the comfort of combining two families with different cultural backgrounds as Hawaii is a place where both the Chinese and American cultures are abundant.

A Family Tradition

For the Spencer Family, the Big Island and Hualalai hold a special place in their heart after traveling to Hawaii for the past 10 years. Falling in love with the mesmerizing island over and over again has created lasting memories for them by connecting, relaxing, and enjoying life to the fullest.

The service provided by the Cuvée team each time we have visited truly sets the property apart.

EMILY SPENCER

A Seamless Ceremony

The wedding was seamless–everything the bride, groom and family needed was at their fingertips; like hair and makeup, a photographer, exceptional food and drink, and Cuvée’s very own concierge, Hoku, attending to every detail. The wedding day was relaxing, stress-free, full of laughter and wonderful family time.

The Wedding Tree

With toes in the sand, the ceremony was held at the Four Seasons Resort in the ultimate sophisticated setting with the Pacific Ocean as the background at the Wedding Tree overlook. For years the family walked by the Wedding Tree overlook admiring the views, so it was only fitting their son was married at that very spot.  Annie and her father walked down the path along the ocean and everyone could feel the love in the air.

Everlasting Memories

With Hoku and the Cuvée team’s attention to detail, everything was taken care of from the moment they arrived to the day they left, the family received five-star service and an exceptional experience. The wedding was planned in a short time frame, but Hoku took every single one of their needs, requests and dreams and made sure they happened whether at the house or during the wedding. The Cuvée team and the pre-planning made everything so easy for the wedding week for everyone to enjoy time as a family and focus on the moment of joining two wonderful people in marriage.
