The Nana Saloon
The Nana Saloon represents the more palatial side of saloon culture. It is anchored by a grand bar, a gambling room, and overnight accommodations, with high ceilings and stained-glass windows that reflect the character of the pre-Prohibition era.
The Cattlemen’s Club
With the rise of the cattle industry, cattle barons and association members gathered in private clubs to negotiate cattle and railroad contracts. Appointed with fine art, textiles, barware, and a pool table, these spaces blended business and leisure, with discreet upstairs accommodations reserved exclusively for members.
The Spaloon
The Spaloon is a high-country retreat dedicated to comfort and restoration, featuring a heated saltwater lap pool, sauna, steam room, a fully equipped gym, a bar, and a full menu of spa services. Framed by expansive mountain views and Western American character, it offers an escape designed to calm the soul and renew the spirit.
The Hotel

The Victorians
Emerging during Queen Victoria’s reign from 1830 to 1910, Victorian architecture encompassed styles such as Gothic Revival, Queen Anne, and Shingle. The Town is home to three such Victorian houses, defined by gabled roofs, gingerbread trim, multi-level forms, and bay windows.
The Four Gables Cabin
An original South Dakota homestead from the late 1800s, The Four Gables was relocated to The Town in 2010 and thoughtfully reimagined as a family home, blending a Civil War–era sitting parlor with an open, inviting kitchen space.
The Mike Bear Cabin
An original structure from the Bear Ranch property, the Mike Bear Cabin is an 1890s Swedish-style homestead relocated to The Town and reconstructed in 2008, preserving the rustic charm and historical character of the original cabin.
The Row House “Cribs”
To support the legalized prostitution economy in the West, many towns and cities established red-light districts featuring rows of “crib” housing. These single-room accommodations were furnished with fine brass beds and Victorian furnishings.
The Apartments
In the early days of commerce, it was common for business owners to live above their shops in simple yet elegant family housing. These two semi-rustic apartments each offer generous open living spaces.
The Homestead Cabins
As settlers moved west, they brought construction techniques learned in their homelands or from the eastern United States. These simple, sturdy homes reflect a practical use of local natural resources and a deep understanding of architecture.
