Avanti Chalet

Vail, Colorado

8 Bedroom Suites | Vail Village Private Standalone Ski Home

Ranging from: $8,250 - $23,650 per night

The only private standalone Vail Village home at the base of Gondola One, Avanti is a mountain masterpiece, the result of a multi-million-dollar, carefully crafted renovation in December 2020. Originally built for Vail’s first Mayor in Austrian-ski home style, Avanti’s total transformation converted the traditional compartmentalized rooms into a study of contemporary continuity: sweeping light-filled spaces with clean lines, natural finishes, floor-to-ceiling windows and distressed custom-patinaed flooring. Wrought iron chandeliers hang from 20-foot ceilings, framing the original two-story stone wood burning fireplace, and mixed textiles like leather, mohair and hide connect to the natural landscape.

With a professional chef kitchen and fluid dining and living areas, along with 8-spacious bedrooms and a private yard, Avanti’s unique mountain living is ideal for multiple families and events, able to share in the sociability of the same space while doing different things.

The Space, Cuvée-Style

Built in the 1960s for Vail’s very first Mayor, this 6,850 square foot estate has all the charm of an authentic Austrian ski home combined with contemporary 21st century updates.

Exceedingly Luxury Amenities

Avanti’s new flexible floorplan opened up the kitchen to reveal full mountain views, creating a convivial gathering hub with state-of-the-art culinary amenities, like a 48-inch cooktop Wolf Range, Sub-Zero wine system, and dark marble slabbed bar. Art walls flow within the interior, along with natural stone finishes, sliding glass rollers in baths, and custom cabinetry, and a mountain-inspired, stunning jagged quartz chandelier suspended over the dining table.

Spend a day on the mountain, then walk back to Avanti to unwind in the private gym, sauna or Jacuzzi, and shake up a drink from the stocked wet bar.

The location of Avanti Chalet could not be beat. The residence was spectacular. The experience during these four nights was unbelievable. My family traveled from NC and the Avanti Chalet fit all 11 of us very comfortably. This trip, the accommodations and everything associated was a 10++. The home couldn’t have been more perfect with a very large great room with an enormous fireplace that we kept burning the entire time. The large windows with snowcapped pines out the back was a perfect setting for a family whom normally doesn’t get to spend much time together. The dining room comfortably sat all 11 of us for Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen was large enough to hang out in. It was such a cool place to call home! Everyone had the best time and loved the home and location!
